Why We Believe Video Is So Hard

On today's episode of Digital Champions, I'm talking about why do we think video is so hard? Ah yes, I'm thinking that video is hard, you believe that video is hard.

It is not that hard. What makes people think that it's hard is that they believe that they have to do it all themselves. You're like oh my gosh, I have to plan all of this content, set up everything, then I've gotta film the whole thing, then I've gotta edit the whole thing.

Then I've gotta publish all the things. No, you don't have to do this alone and that is a big mistake that people often make. Understand that video doesn't need to be complex. You, as the business owner, your time is supper valuable.

So all you need to do is create the systems in your business, create the people in your business to allow you to free up so that you do only the things that you can do. So for example, filming. That is one thing that only I can do. I'm the face, I'm the one talking the content.

So all I have to do is plan out the content and then film. But guess what? I don't do anything after that. Yep, nothing. I give the videos, the raw footage right to my team.

They make amazing videos for me. They're awesome. And then they're also then distributing the videos across my social media platforms. So it becomes super easy. I don't have to do all of the parts.

So if you're thinking I can't do video, there's too much, I don't know how, I have to do editing, I have to do this, you have to do that. No, you just have to get the know-how and understanding what each part is, understanding how to do each of those parts and then finding the right people to do those parts for you. And now all of a sudden, you're like wow, can video be this easy? Yes.

It can. It can be this easy. Once we create these systems, once we put these people in place and again, doesn't have to be super cost, it doesn't have to be expensive to have these people. There's tons of resources that you can utilize to make this simpler, to make video easy.

You just need the know-how, you need to know the strategy and then you need to put the systems in place and now, video becomes supper easy. So now that we've blasted that belief that video is hard, now there's nothing else for you to do except to go out there, start creating these systems, building that team of people that are gonna put this in place for you to make the magic happen so that all you have to worry about is filming and then boom, you've got all this amazing content that's going out on a consistent basis.
