The first holiday video that you can create is Senior Holiday Gift Ideas. I love this topic because there are many really great gifts that you can give out for seniors during this holiday season. And these gifts can really make a huge impact.

Facebook Portal

My family loves the Facebook portal. I talk with my brother and his wife, as well as my nephew on the portal. It's great!

I talk to my parents and my grandmother on the portal. It's such a cool tool.

It's better for the seniors, but it's so convenient for them and it's really easy to call.

It goes right through Facebook so people can answer it from their mobile devices.

But you can also get it set up with your TV. It's such a cool device to improve communication.

Specifically if you live far away, or with Covid, sometimes it can be hard to travel, all that kind of stuff.

Indeed, such a cool tool!

We can strategically talk about the benefits of this.

So, when we have something or we're communicating with our seniors, it's going to increase happiness.

So there's actually some scientific benefits that back up why these gifts are impactful for seniors.

#2 Games and Puzzles to Keep you Sharp

Games and puzzles help keep you sharp, improve dementia, and enhance your overall cognitive function. These games and activities can keep your mind fresh.

#3 A Companionship to Prevent Loneliness

Another good gift is companionship.

I'm now talking about senior care as a gift because we're talking about companionship.

I'm not selling home care, I'm selling companionship.

It doesn't matter whether you go with the home care company or my home care company, but you're selling companionship as a great gift or a great way to do it. This is because it's so powerful to decrease loneliness and increase happiness.

Don't we want that for our seniors? Right?

So this is just one video where you can talk about, but there are probably multiple videos potentially that you can create.

But again, you see all the benefits here.

What to Look For

The second video that you can create is about what to look for this holiday season.

This is exactly what you'll use, right?

Number one: difficulty with activities of daily living.

Those are things to look for. Explain that a little.

Number two: fear for personal safety and health.

If you feel fear for your loved one, you should probably consider home care.

Number three: noticeable loss of mobility or strength.

The holidays are one of the biggest times of the year.

There's a huge spike in home care in January, and it's because they recognize these things, but they may not know what to look for.

And so again, this is a holiday topic that specifically correlates with creating a need for home care to drive business your way, but doing it in an educational and fun way.

You may even dress up in a Holiday costume.

It can be really fun depending on how you do it.

But again, the goal of this is to educate people and do it in a way that's topical to the holidays that are approaching.

Prevent Depression

I should have probably done this one first because it's more on the sad topic.

When it comes to depression, it's very common during the holidays.

Yes, it can be one of the happiest times of the year, but for seniors, sometimes it can be the saddest.

They're thinking about the holidays that they used to spend with their friends, or wife, or spouse that's no longer with them.

So it can be really tough during this time of year.

So here's an aspect of how to prevent depression.

• Consistent communication with your loved ones
• Good diet
• Companionship

All these are important things to prevent depression during the holidays.

Home care helps with constant communication where you're actually with somebody. They can also help with a diet by meal prepping and planning.

We're selling that aspect and this is what we're solving. We're preventing depression.
